![]() ![]() I do actually think Shippuden's endings were superior to Part I's endings (mostly thanks to gems like Broken Youth, Mayonaka no Orchestra. but at a point around the Kage Summit arc, the endings and openings really suffered in terms of quality and character). I suppose if you were listening to the tracks standalone, you'd probably prefer part II's over part I's.Īnd though not completely part of the OST, the openings and endings in Naruto were much more solid than those in Part II (not to say Part II didn't have great openings-Sign, Diver, Tōmei datta Sekai-and endings-Michi ~ to you all, Broken Youth, ect. ![]() Part II's soundtrack is good and very diverse, and there are certainly a few very awesome tracks, but Shippuden suffers from poor timing and poor track placement, and the OST overall lacks the same sense of character that united all of the tracks in Part I despite being better produced. It’s like they were composed by two different peoplewhich they wereand they rarely shared the same style, tone, or even the same set of instruments. Most people in this thread have said it right. Check out the soundtracks for both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden to hear just how different they are.
